This is my first blog......
I am sitting in my office doing nothing for past some days..........Lots of confusion about the projects from the past few days.......

I was also part of the confusion for the past few days ...and now I voluntarily retired from that confusion....
"Idle mind is a devil's ....."..I have heard about that...But now I don't have any option rather than being idle...
I made up my mind to write a blog...Now "what topic???"....

Some time before, I had read a topic on "Pennu kanal" which was all on Lady's perspective. In all that cases, women were all good and men were all cheap and nasty....That prompted me to write something about how a guy views a "Pennu kanal chadangu"

For readers information,"Pennu kanal" is a function where in guy(ready for marriage) goes and sees his counterpart in her family with his relatives......

It was me and my father who went to see this girl..I was working in an IT company in Chennai. I took a train from Chennai to my hometown which was more than 8 hours journey. Tired "me" reached home and started getting ready to go for the "Pennu kanal"...

We had to travel another 4 hours to her house.So,we thought of not taking our car and go in Train.We booked a 2AC ticket and started the journey.You would be wondering why I said about the class of train that we travelled.Ill explain the reason as the story goes.....

Train was running very very late that usual and for 4 hours journey,it took almost 6 hours to reach the place.My father had informed the same to girls family while we were in the train.

Finally we reached the railway station.And now going to the girls house,we need to take an auto.We took the auto and started the journey.On they way my father was asking the gils father to tell the correct location.He dint tell that.Instead he told to get down at a point and we did exactly the same.

After getting there,we called him and started waiting for him for almost 30 min.One car came and stopped in the opposite side of the road and I could feel some one inside the car is watching both of us for almost 5 minutes.

Then we got a call from girls father and he said he is in that car.We crossed the road and went near his car and we got it in.He drove to the same direction as we were standing and it dint take even a 5 minutes to reach their home from that point.....

I still wonder what would have made them to take 30 min in their first journey..........

All fake smiles and we enter the house..Then came the irritating "Laddu",chips and tea.....I did sip the tea and immediately I was thinking about my mother who makes "The best tea"...

Now "the girl " comes and stand infront of me.I looked at her and smiled.I don't know whether she smiled.
Now its turn to talk to her personally.She took me to her "bedroom".

I was sitting in the bed and she was sitting opposite to me in a chair.We greeted each other.
We spoke about some "blah..blah...blah.....".

Immediately she asked me..."So what are your future plans?

Me:Hmmm....I don't know..I am working and would like to continue my work.
She:I need to work.I don't like dependency
Me:ok......
She:I wanted a husband who can speak English in public
Me:Yeah,Yeah..I speak good English....
She:OK..
Me:So what are your expecations?
She:I want a husband who can take care of my parents
Me:hmmmmmm......

We smiled and came out....Then her father was speaking...
Father:Her horoscope says whe will have child in another 12 months.....
Me:What?????????(In mind)
Father:Dont you have a car?
Me:We do...but who will drive all this way ...I was tired....
Father:OK...So how are you going back?If you walk 5 min to the point,you will get auto to the railway station.
My Father's face turned so bad that he dint utter a word....

Her mother sensed something wrong and told her husband to drop us back to the railway station.
We sat in his car.When that point came,I asked him to stop the car and said "Thank you" and we got down......................................


Valkashnam:After 2 days,they called us and asked "Are you interested in proceeding?"..................
